UNITRON® CFM Forensic Microscope

UNITRON's CFM microscope was designed with the collaboration of police organizations, forensic scientists and educators. Evidence can be observed simultaneously with the precision engineered comparison bridge that supports two sets of matched objective sets on a 5-step magnification changer. The CFM has 22mm field of view eyepieces to produce erect, unreversed images that move in the same direction as the specimen for ease of use. The CFM series offers incredible value and performance for inspection of ballistics, firearms, and toolmark examinations. Shown with fluorescent gooseneck illuminators and optional camera.
Viewing Head
Choice of ergo tilting head or standard 45° viewing angle head. Images can be viewed as 100% right, 100% left, split or superimposed. Split image dividing line can be adjusted to any desired line width for maximum flexibility. Interpupillary distance adjustment range 55mm-75mm.
Eyepieces
CWF 10x eyepieces, 22mm field of view and CWF 20x eyepieces, 13mm field of view.

Stage
Two 65mm diameter circular, ball bearing stages with horizontal coaxial stage controls. The stage movement rages when moved independently are 56mm of X-axis, 56mm of Y-axis, and 56mm of Z-axis. Stage movement range when using the combined focus block is 80mm on the Z-axis. Each stage has gradient adjustments in both directions. A wide range of stage mounting plates, wire holders, bullet and cartridge holders is included.
Illumination
2.5 watt circular LED Ring Light mounted to each optical system. Two 3 watt LED flexible light guides with focusing lens. Built-in touch pad to control all lighting options.
